Between Heaven and Earth, 2016: fibre, fabric, thread, stones, keys, chain links; each piece approx 30cm x 120cm

I made this triptych after trips to Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia, to express the contrasting, even conflicting, feelings I had about them. In all three, the difficult histories and current problems lurk not very far beneath the enticing, colourful, delightful surface.
